Avoiding Tutor Burnout

Being a full-time tutor can sometimes cause burnout. Believe me, it’s not fun. I’m completely guilty of feeling so burned out at the end of the school year that I feel like I’m crawling across the finish line!

With so much on our plate and more being dumped onto it, it’s no wonder we feel stressed and burned out! With the new school year underway, let’s discuss a few ways to avoid tutor burnout and make it to the end of the school year a little less stressed.

  1. Learn to say “No”. You don’t have to volunteer to do every job that comes your way. Before agreeing to anything, make sure your schedule can comfortably handle it.
